The Living Faith Church Worldwide is the product of the vision of liberation. The divine mandate was delivered to Bishop David Olaniyi Oyedepo on 2nd May 1981 in an 18-hour encounter with God. He heard God say to him, “Now, the hour has come to liberate the world from all oppressions of the devil, through the preaching of the Word of Faith. And I am sending you to undertake this task". 

So, the major focus of this commission is to restore dignity to mankind. Our task is to liberate men from all the oppressions and afflictions of Satan. Our tool is the Word of Faith and our target is the whole world. The Living Faith Church Worldwide is a multifaceted ministry with a four -fold mission. 

 

PASTORING: On December 11,1983, the first Living Faith Church was planted. Today, hundreds of thriving branch churches have been planted all over Nigeria and in many nations of Africa and beyond. The international headquarters is Faith Tabernacle, Canaan Land, Ota, Ogun State, Nigeria. 

 

PUBLISHING: This incorporates the Dominion Publishing House, where several million copies of books have been printed since its inception in 1992. 

 

TRAINING: The Word of Faith Bible Institute is the training arm of the ministry. It has several campuses in Nigeria and other African countries and has churned men and women of different areas of human endeavour who are now doing exploits for Jesus all over the world.

 

WORLD MISSION: This includes the Africa Gospel Invasion Programme (AGIP), which has a mandate to see the hitherto “ dark continent" of Africa totally illuminated with the Word of Faith. AGIP operates under the umbrella of World Mission Agency and presently has missionaries in about 40 nations of Africa. Also, under the World Mission Agency is the mission to the World (MTW); this is a mission to other continents of the world apart from Africa.
