KINGDOM SERVICE

“And ye shall serve the LORD your God, and he shall bless thy water; and I will take sickness muay from the rnidst of thee. 
There shall nothing cast their young, nor be barren in thy land: the number of thy days I will fulfill. I will send my fear before thee, and will destroy all the people to whom thou shalt come, and I will make all thine enemies turn backs unto thee”

At the Living Faith Church, Idi-Ishin, we have several service opportunities, which constitute avenues for ministering to the saints and fulfilling our covenant obligations. Below are the available opportunities and the duties attached to them. 

PROTOCOL UNIT: The first contact of the church.
-Receive worshippers and welcome them to service
-See to the needs of the Pastorate (Resident and Visiting)
-Host the Converts and new Comers to help them settle down 
Membership is by application. New members are welcome. 

USHERING UNIT: Psalms.84:10
- Create a friendly and welcoming atmosphere during the Church services. 
- Show kindness and care to those in need of physical    support. 
- Receive worshippers and usher them to their seats. 
- Ensure orderliness in the services. 
- Distribution of church-related materials, such as 
   handbills and magazines, etc. 
They meets before and after every service in the sanctuary. Membership is by application.

 
SANCTUARY KEEPING: Exo.19:10,11;Gen.2-15
Ensures that the Sanctuary of God and the entire church premises are well kept for the glory of his  name. Sanctuary keepers meet every Saturday morning at 6:00am. 

SECURITY: Nehemiah 7:3 
Ensure the security of lives and property (particularly Vehicles) within the church premises. Membership is by application, Serving military personel, paramilitary personnel ex-servicemen, security service operators are welcomed to this unit. 

TRAFFIC CONTROL UNIT: 2 Chron.1:14 Functions 
Attends to vehicle/movement outside the main sanctuary and the adjoining roads leading to the church. Membership is by application. FRSC personnel, VIO, Traffic Wardens and all other traffic related professionals are welcome. 

TECHNICAL UNIT: Exodus 36:1-2 
 Sets up and maintain the public address systems in the church. Production of teaching tapes on Cds, cassette and video tapes. 
Membership is by application. 

CHOIR: 2 Chronicles 5:13-14 
Leads the congregation to offer quality praise and worship music, minister inspirational spiritual songs. Membership is by application. Musical experience and singing ability and skill to play musical instruments are an advantage. 

CHILDREN/TEEN TEACHERS: Deut 6:6-7. 
Maintain order in the children/ teen's  section. 
Teach and  instruct  the children/teens at the children's section of the church, in the way of the Lord. Membership is by application, prior training and experience in child upbringing will be an advantage. 
DECORATION UNIT: Exodus 31:2-9
Sees to the decoration and beautification of the church for all occasions. 
Membership is by application. Experienced interior decoration are highly welcomed. 

FOLLOW-UP UNIT: Acts 15:36 
Ensures the follow-up of new converts and first time worshippers in order to facilitate their establishment in the faith and in the church. 

 MEDICAL UNIT: Luke 10:33,34.  
Attend to medical needs during services. Direct and help congregants in need of medical attention at the church clinic and during healing school programs. 
Doctors, nurses and others who are experienced in medical services  are qualified to be members. 

HOSPITALITY: Rom.12:13;Heb.13:1-2 
- Creates a friendly and welcoming atmosphere during the church services. 
-Show kindness and care to those in need of physical support. 

BELIEVERS' FOUNDATION SCHOO L
Conducts foundation classes for believers and first time worshipers. 

DRAMA UNIT: Rom.1:19-20;]er.18:2-6 
Propagates the gospel through drama during the service.
